TRANSPORTER BELTS

Newly formed fires are dangerous for the fact that they propagate easily due to continuous movement. At the same time, there is a real risk of spreading to other sectors, processes or surrounding equipment.

It is also the only agent that can act locally in non-confined spaces confined without causing the prior eviction of the occupants. This fact reduces the possibilities that the fire extends to a greater area, without prior prerequisites that slow down the beginning of the discharge. The fact that it is a mobile fire makes it a decisive factor.

The equipment can be centralized to simultaneously protect both motors and belts or critical points in the chain (ovens, conduits, couplings and storage, etc.)

The transport of materials on continuous belts – which are frequently found in manufacturing industries, exploitation or serial assembly lines -, speeds up and facilitates these activities. However, from the point of view of the protection of fires, they are an important risk to consider.
