TYPES OF SYSTEMS
The water mist equipment can be adapted to meet all the requirements in installation and types of application. For the project, a series of components has been selected to permanently maintain the pipe with (or without) water, which is done according to its potential hazard and its individual characteristics.
WET PIPING SYSTEM:
The RG W-FOG wet piping extinguisher system is the most simple and widespread method in water mist fire extinguishing systems. The reduced number of components of our equipment makes these systems very reliable and require little maintenance.
DRY PIPING SYSTEM:
The operation of the RG W-FOG dry piping water mist system has an operation similar to that of the wet piping with closed sprinklers, with the difference between the systems being that instead of having the discharge tubing constantly filled with pressurised water, it is pressurised with air or nitrogen to avoid frozen pipes.
DELUGE SYSTEM:
RG W-FOG deluge systems with water mist are typically used in special hazards where a complete area has to be protected. This equipment makes up total or local application flooding systems in which open nozzles without a fuse are installed. The discharge of water is simultaneous through all nozzles when a fire is detected using an independent detection system.
PREACTION SYSTEM:
Preaction water mist systems are installed in areas with very sensitive materials where an accidental activation is not desirable. They need a double activation to initiate the discharge. These installations use closed nozzles, mounted on dry pressurised piping, and are also combined with a fire alarm system.
